I really shouldn't be doing this, but I can't help myself. These blogs are becomeing my crack. I check them daily and am extremely disappointed when there are no updates. I put together this little blog on Saturday while the boys napped. I sent it to Todd for approval. Not a good idea. I had just convinced him to fly my mom out to help me pack. When he saw my blog he didn't feel sorry for me being "overwhelmed" about packing. But...he is now hooked. He started looking at all my favorite blogs and we discussed everyone this weekend.
We actually had a great weekend. Our very wonderful friend, Chris and Myndi, came in town. It was great to actually spend two evenings with them. They are both from Midland, so when they are in town, they are divided between families and don't have a ton of extra time. Friday night Grammie watched the boys and we went out for dinner and drinks. When we returned only one baby was awake. You guessed it...Brody. He did not want to miss out on a potential party. He actually made it later then Todd and Chris. Myndi and I were talking and playing with Brody only to notice we lost the boys. We put Brody to be and enjoyed another glass of wine and girl time. SO NICE! On Saturday we headed over to Bob and Diane's, Chris's parents, and had a great dinner. It was such a nice night the babies laid on their quilt and enjoyed watching the storm roll in.
Today...I WILL START PACKING! I don't know what my problem is. After mom left, I have barely done a thing. This is my week. At least it will be after swim lessons and lunch with Mauri and Jill. Then, I will get started!
