2 Months Old!!!

Henley is two months old today! We had her two month check-up today with Dr. Nabulsi. He thought she was doing great. Henley loves to talk and smile all the time. She is still our sleeping beauty and continues to sleep the majority of the day. She been sleeping through the night (11-6) somewhat regularly. We love her more and more the more we see her sweet personality show. Owen must know where she is at all times and Brody loves to feed her a bottle. Happy Birthday Little Angel!

We went on a nice long family walk tonight. Just before we got back to the house, Todd let the boys out of their stroller to stretch their legs (wear them out). Brody ran to push Henley's stroller. He was so proud!

Henley is 8 Weeks Old

Miss Henley is eight weeks old! She is such a good baby. She loves to smile and "talk", especially with her Daddy. I see a major Daddy's Girl in my future.

All dress up. We love the Boppy. In fact she slept on it in her bed last night because it was the only way she could get "fixed". The night before was our first all-nighter and momma did not want another. I can't complain since this was our first night to not sleep, at least she was in a good mood ALL night!

Big brother Owen is quite a character. At the doc today he heard a little baby crying from the other room, and was in a panic about "sissa". Miss Teri had to explain it was someone else's little brother.


Poor snotty Brody is fighting off a respiratory infection. Luckily he had a quilt from Nana to comfort him.

Going to Pa Doss's house.

Doss took the boys on Saturday morning and spent the day with them. He wanted them to spend the night too. Last time we traveled (end of June) the boys slept in pack-n-plays. Well, Henley has both of them in use so I didn't send anything and he thought he could handle it. He said both boys got in bed with him and they were going to watch a movie to go to sleep (yes, my children sleep with a TV on in their room, judge all you want). Well, Pa Doss kept falling asleep and the boys were not. TV off. Owen snuggled up to Doss and then they heard "beep beep beep beep". Brody could see the keypad on the safe, so he was working on breaking in. I have no idea how they finally wen to sleep, nor do I care. They came home alive the next day. All good!

While the boys were away...Daddy took his girls on their first date! So fun!

First Day of School 2010

YEAH!!! School is in session!

The boys returned to the Mother's Day Out program this year. They are in a new classroom with new teachers, but our same ol' friends. I was so excited for them to get back into a routine for their sake and mine. I tried my hardest to get a picture of them together. I'm always so envious of those pics parents post of their sweet children perched on the front stoop. At our house it's lots of running around hurrying and quite crazy. No time or ability for those posed pictures.

Eating our banana-breakfast. Owen prefers to shove the whole thing in his mouth and then eat it slowly. Gross!

Brody appears to have the same technique, but I think he just shoves it in to ensure Owen won't steal it.

Guess who? Nana bought them some small tot-sized backpacks, but Brody insists on dragging his. So his personality!

The only pic from in the classroom. Brody didn't really jump into the new year with a positive attitude. He was not quite sure of the new room and new teacher. (Notice the look on his face) He perked up and had a great day. Didn't want drop off to be too easy on Mom.

***Just a side note...we managed to ALL (Henley and Mom included) be dressed and in the car on the road on time!!!!

Labor Day 2010

This year for Labor Day we stayed home. Todd had to go into work for a little bit so Grammie and I took the kiddos to the park in the morning and then after naps we all headed up to the pool for a final day at the club.

Henley already seems to have an opinion of all the picture taking.

First High School Football Game

Todd and Pa Doss took the boys to their first Lee High School Football game. Henley and I had a relaxing evening at home, just us girls! Todd said they did great. They ate their popcorn and Skittles and watched the first half of the game. Brody "accidentally" repeatedly kicked the little boy in front of him to get him to keep turning around, but other than that they did great!
