Christmas with the McD family

The day after Christmas the McD's came to Midland! I am so sad that there are very few pictures. With Three 2-year-old's, a six year old, and a baby, you think someone would have had a free hand to snap a picture? Right? Hopefully someone else has a couple they will share with us. The grandsons and Nana's hands
Dad and his little girl

Jacob and Owen. We had four serious Toy Story fans in this house. Toy Story Mania!

Uncle Jody watching over the little ones! He was smart and grabbed Henley when he walked in and always had the excuse, "I'm holding the baby!".

Henley's aunt (being the mom of 2 precious boys) found Henley the perfect outfit. This purple newsboy cap, with a stripe tunic sweater and jeggings! So trendy!

Monday was beautiful so we played outside. So sad Aunt Kathy was sick and everyone had to leave early. Hopefully next time we can all play for a couple of days.

Aunt Kathy found the coolest stocking stuffers for all the boys...Catchable Bubbles! You can catch them and they don't pop. When you do pop them, they dissolve. Hours of fun at this house.

Saying bye to their littlest cousin. These boys are so sweet to our Henley

You can see Henley is returning the smile just by looking at the sides of her eyes!

Christmas with Pa Doss

Christmas afternoon, after the entire family napped, we headed to Pa Doss's house to celebrate.

These rocking horses are so cute! they move their heads up & down, neigh, and swish their tails. The boys were a little stand off-ish. they might have thought they were real for a minute!

Aunt JJ could care less about anything but her sweet niece!

perched on her throne

Yes, those are pj bottoms on his head. Promptly after opening, both boys insisted on wearing their pj's. They've clearly enjoyed our lazy days here lately!

Christmas Morning 2010

It's finally here!!!!!!
Santa came!

Owen was the first one down the stairs. He peeked around the corner and just grinned from ear to ear. He had to stop and stare just to take it in.

Brody came down in a blur (hence the pic). Owen was fast blowin through the goodies and Brody wanted in on the fun!

Waiting on Santa

With Christmas on a Saturday this year, Todd had a normal work week. I knew I would be home-bound with the kiddos because I was not getting out in the crazy Christmas traffic with my three under three! We enjoyed lazy days baking and watching movies in our pajamas.
What does Henley think is sooooo funny?

Her brother! Henley is very fascinated with her funny brothers. They, of course, have no idea what she finds so entertaining. We love to hold her and chase the boys. Everyone gets a good laugh.

Pajama man checking on the gifts. Thinking he should be NICE, but it would be more fun to be NAUGHTY!

Our Christmas Princess

Brody...NICE

NAUGHTY?

Henley is always NICE!

NICE?????

NO! It was a NAUGHTY hug. This is the new take-down move. They hug and giggle and start tugging to see who can pull who down first! Everyone goes "awe" when the hug starts, and "OH!" when the tussle starts.

NAUGHTY?

Our House at Christmas

I love having the house decorated for Christmas! Here's what our house looked like year.
My friend helped with my BIG tree this year. This was the second year we had it and it just keeps getting better!

Here's a shot of just the tree. I love all the colors!

This is the topper Christin created for me

She had a couple of Santas perched here and there. (I need one more so each of the kiddos can have one?)

This is the non-Santa fireplace. It's super long and he said it scared him, so we did family gifts in here.

This is the "DO NOT TOUCH tree". It has all our breakable ornaments and is perched out of the reach of little fingers. There's even a stair gate to protect it. Plus the gifts are out of reach too. (No, I did not install spot lights for my tree. This used to be a planter box. I had a hinged lid put on and now it's fab storage)

Here's my buffet. The garland is lighted and beautiful, but hard to capture on camera

Our family tree. My favorite. I love that the boys looked for their favorite ornaments each day, and cheered with they found something new. It's in our family room.

Our stockings. Todd's and Holly's are turned so you can't see them. Todd's is Santa. This is Santa's chimney

Christmas with Grammie 2010

Grammie was heading to lake to celebrate Christmas with Great Ma and Great Pa so we kicked Christmas off early.
Henley and Grammie

Brody opening his dinosaurs. They talk to one another! Very fun!

Uncle Scott was going to the lake too, so he joined up in the festivities!
He brought the boys Iron Man action figures that were a big hit. They battled with Buzz. Guess who won?

Brody helped Grammie open her present, but become uninterested when he found out it was clothes. And not for him.

Daddy's so silly!
Owen was not quite himself that night. It all made sense the next day when the stomach bug kicked in full force.

Henley like the harmonizing bears Grammie got for the boys.
