Our friends, Anna & Brown, went to see the Easter bunny yesterday. When I showed Owen the text with their picture, he was beyond excited that his friends met Bugs Bunny. I explained in fact it was the Easter bunny and asked him if he would like to go. "Yes! Easter Bunny! Yes!" So I told him we would go tomorrow after school.
When we headed up for a bath..Easter Bunny? No, Owen. After his bath...Shoes on? Why Owen? Going to see Easter Bunny? Nope, tomorrow! Needless to say this went on. When I picked him up from school he was ready! I had to run errands to stall because the Bunny didn't open till 4. Each stop...Easter Bunny?
So we are in line to see the big guy, Owen is waving and dancing...when it's our turn, Henley goes in the bunny's arms, Brody lets me set him in place (Brody has had no interest in our Easter Bunny conversations), Owen...MELT DOWN!
He been talking a big game about his visit to everyone...I have the picture to prove how it really went.
