So Long Little Friend

It's our first day without Moxie. Yesterday she went to live with her new family. My friend Stephanie had a friend with a pug (Frank) and she was looking for a friend for him. Emily (Frank's mom) came over yesterday to meet her new baby. It was love at first sight. Moxie was all smiles and running around like a mad woman. Emily smiled and was so excited because she was just like Frank. I cannot wait to hear her stories. I loved my sweet little girl, but it was unfair to her to not get the attention she do desired. It had gotten so tough to take care of all my children. Moxie needs immediate attention to all her needs and sadly I couldn't meet them. I know she is going to do great with her new family and we were given an open invitation to come visit anytime. As Emily left, she was pondering what Moxie would be for Halloween. Frank's going to be a dinosaur. I can't wait to see the pics.

Moxie meeting Owen for the first time. She was very curious what these noisy things were.

Moxie was lickin her lips thinking about those baby socks. She loved to steal them right off the boys. I would find them all over the house.

Moxie loved the days of all day naps. She loved having someone warm to cuddle up with.

She was always trying to get just a little bit closer. She was not a believer in personal space.

She learned to get closer to the boys when she realized they could somewhat "pet" (pull out hair) her now.

I am so sorry for your loss, but like you said she is going to a great home with a friend! The Sebring's will also remember Moxie as the amazing water dog in her orange life jacket! Definitely an all-time swim team memory, too.
