Happy Birthday Henley!

Henley is one year old! While I'm sad she's not a "baby" anymore...she will always be our baby! We had a great day (minus the well check) with family and lots of cake! We love this little girl and cannot believe how lucky we are to have her in our lives. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Miss Henley is into everything! WOW! She definitely keeps us busy. She's a good eater (mostly baby food and oatmeal). She has changed over to whole milk with no problems. She sleeps through the night (most of the time), and continues to take lots of little naps all day in the car and wherever she drops at home. She has three teeth (it is driving Mom nuts that she does not have even numbers. Right now she has the two bottom and the top right and love to grind them together)

Henley loves to play with doors, clean out drawers, and is always looking for an open gate. She can climb all the way up the stairs. Loves to swing on the back porch, and usually takes an evening nap out there while her brothers are swimming. She is jabbering constantly, Momma, Dada, BaBa, Hi, ByeBye, and loves to giggle. Has learned the art of flinging herself on the floor when she does not get her way (lovely). Cries every night when she has to get out of the bathtub.

Henley wants to walk so bad. She cruises around the room as long as she can find stuff to hold onto. She will let go every now and then and practice her balance. I'm ready for her to walk. She has lots of pretty dresses that are very difficult to crawl in and I hate that she gets so dirty all the time. She loves to "swim" with her puddle-jumper on but is happy to sit in her float or a big bucket by the pool. We have been going through a difficult "Mommy phase" of not wanting anyone else, but I glad to say it has passed and we are our sweet self again.

Henley received a rainbow for her birthday. While we did not get any rain to ease our drought woes, the rainbow was beautiful. Such an amazing gift for a special girl!
