Fall blew into to Midland Monday night (along with all the dirt from Lubbock to here). So for school on Tuesday we pulled out our fall clothes.

Henley was boo-tiful!

After our tennis lessons all the girls took me to lunch for my birthday. Yes, the cake was huge! But more importantly it was oh-so-tasty!

The letter for this week is "H".
H is for Hat.

After school we enjoyed the cool weather and played outside.

Owen was in heaven pulling every toy out of the garage. This morning Owen was no quite ready to get his day started and his attitude was not pleasant. He fought me on wearing this shirt (which he requested to wear) and I had to turn on the charm to sell him on the idea of wearing his "MON STER shirt". Got dressed, got in car, walked into school. Owen stops at the doorway to his class, holds his arms straight out, and demands his class's attention..."Look at my shirt!" All the kids in his class are staring at him with blank stares. Didn't stop him. He went looking for his teacher. She played the game and bubbled over with excitement. He was pleased!

Everybody buckle up!

Brody asked to be a cowboy. It took me a minute to realize he wanted to ride the horse swing.

Really? Miss Henley, can you be still for just one minute???

I am telling you -- the 3rd kid after twins is CRAZY! We nicknamed Zoe the Honey Badger because she literally knows no fear. She has no idea that she doesn't have the same capabilities as the big girls. She'll fly right down the same big, twisty slides if I don't catch her.
