Great Wolf Lodge (part 1)

The boys headed to Dallas to stay with Nana & Papa D for an entire week.  For Memorial Day Todd and Henley and I headed to Great Wolf Lodge to meet up with the boys.

After a quick hello for Mom and Dad Owen was in the pool!

Henley was so excited to see her brothers, but mostly she was ready to play.  Last year she played for a couple of hours befor my parents came to get her for the weekend, but she was so young, she actually slept the entire time.  This year, she was not missing out! My parents stayed for the day and then they took her to their house for the weekend.  This will probably be the last year we can pull this off?!
That's Owen with his back to the fountain...filling up his pants...
Brody was so excited to see the wolf sprayer

Henley learned all about the sprayer. When is howls, you better get out of the way or get sprayed. I abandoned one of the boys when they were her age and I heard the howl. (terrible mother) Well, it was Henley's turn to get caught off gaurd. Look how mad she was Papa D left her. No worries, she was giggles and squeals seconds later.

Owen showing off his loots from the CLAW game in the arcade (Brody was napping and I was enjoying peace).  Owen ALWAYS wins when he plays any claw game. It's unbelieveable! Yes, we had lots of prizes by the end of the weekend.

To escape the heat, we attempted the Quest.

Brody posing in front of the big boy slide we did 100 times! Owen was gung-ho for any and all slides, but this year Brody was a little timid.  Once Owen and Dad went down this one, it took little convincing to get Brody to go. At the end each time we came down, they would both say "AGAIN!"
The wave pool was Brody's favorite spot this year.

2 out of 3 of the cutest wolves ever!

Look How Far We've Come!

Last August I had two 3 year-olds starting Preschool at a new school and they were going to be separated for the first time...

They have come so far! Being in different classes has strengthened their brotherly bond so much.  They really enjoy Tuesday and Thursday afternoons after being apart all day.

I'm very proud of my Pre-K3 grads!

This sweet girl was just a 13 month old baby that couldn't walk when she ventured out to make new friends at Mother's Day Out.  She has grown more than I thought possible in the past 9 months. I love the little girl she is turning into.  Her personality shines brighter each day! Where did my baby go!!!!!!

Last Day of School 2011-2012

Today was our last day of school...look out summer, HERE WE COME!

These two guys are through with 3-year old Preschool!!!!
The whole crew

Got the first year of Mother's Day Out under our belt

Dad and his graduate

Our second grad!

All of Owen's goodies

Mrs. Hullender had the whole graduation ceremony! They went outside and marched in to the graduation song, took a seat, and then waited for their name to be called so they could receive their diplomas.  Owen was on the edge of his chair...with each name he would twitch thinking it was his turn.  He will miss his teacher sooooo sooooo much! They had a wonderful bond and he will always love her. (One time he was acting crazy and I tried to disown him...I asked him who his mother was, and replies "Mrs. Hullender!")

Brody and Mrs. Worley.  She has been the perfect fit for my sweet Brody.  I always laugh because when Mrs. Hullender sees the boys she's vocal and silly and grabby, Brody tries to melt into me while Owen jumps right on Mrs. Hullender's band-wagon.  Brody loves how his teacher waits to see how his mood is and lets him approach her on his terms. Their differences make them the perfect match for the boys, plus I love that the boys get to experience both of them. Mrs. Worley has been amazing. I am so lucky both my boys were blessed with amazing women who truly loved them for them.  Separating the boys this year was made very easy by these wonderful talented teachers.

Henley with Miss Bianca and Miss Jaime.  Her sweet teachers have been great! They love Miss Henley and don't mind her melt-downs when Mommy and Daddy have to leave.  Henley has curb side drop off in the morning and she goes into school great with a big smile.  BUT, if there is a program or function that Todd or I attend...COMPLETE meltdown! Miss Jaime and Miss Bianca just roll with it and scoop her up and wave us away.  They love her and she adores them and has grown so much thanks to these ladies!
Big stuff! She now has to carry her own backpack!

Strutting her stuff as she exits on her last day!

Walking in and ready to sing!!!

No one fell going up the stairs! Phew!

Owen always finds us in the crowd. Wants to make sure we have a good angle on him!
Brody stood most of the performance with his back to me wathcing his friends sing. At the finale, he got into the motions.  LOVE these guys!

Mother's Day Tea w/ the Boys

My sweet boys invited me to a Mother's Day tea at their school.

The table was set so pretty for our tea.  Owen and Brody each made me a crown and drew a picture of me to put on the hand-painted art clips they made.  We (Owen) enjoyed the mini chocolate chip bundt cake.

Angry Birds

These 2 really are 2 peas in a pod...

Partners in crime...

I was laying in bed this morning with all my sweet kiddos. Brody had swiped my phone from the charger and was playing Angry Birds, and O & H were roaming, wallering, and wondering. Owen looks at and states, "I'm playing Angry Birds". I didn't understand seeing as how he was just standing there looking at me. Then....WHAM! He tackles Henley! Jumps up and states, "Henley is the pig. I'm the Angry Bird!" She loved the attention and did not complain.

This is our new method of Angry Birds. Much safe yet still physical. They love it. When they get bored with Angry Birds, they just hit the boxes and knock them down as Incredible Hulk!

End of the Year Preschool Program

The boys had their end of the year program at school today. The entire preschool performed six songs about Texas.

Of course Owen loved to perform.  Brody was clearly not as amused.
