Stick 'em up!

Brody was not at all excited about western day. The clothes went on smoothly. There was hesitation with the boots...once he spotted his sneakers...no boots. I carried the hat into school "just in case" and he refused the hat. Until, Georgia jumped at the opportunity to wear it. Then, of course, Brody wanted the hat...hence the tears

Owen on the other hand, LOVED the idea of western day! Dress up...YES, hat...YES, boots...YES. Attention on him...YES! He loved every bit of it. It's funny how different the boys' classes are. Owen's class was in the hallway checking everyone's outfits out upon arrival. Brody's class...chillin' and doing puzzles while visiting with their classmates at their seats.

Brody perked up when he spotted the saddle. He was all about being a cowboy, now! This was literally taken 12 seconds after the above pic with tears...

Sister didn't have Western day, but she was still lookin' cute and excited to go to school today.

Owen's amazing teacher texted me some pics of my cowboy. "Uh, is this safe? Am I doing it right? Do I look OK?"

"I got this! Look out Woody!"

Western day was tough!

Owen might turn out to be a Scooby Doo hoarder? Maybe?

What? Did I do something?

Tonight we went to dinner with Pa Doss & Laura for Todd's birthday. We asked the boys how old Daddy was...owen, "I don't know". Brody, "Seven!"

I got the boys ready for bed tonight while Todd did Henley. I was laying down with Brody asking him about his day and Daddy filled him in on my secret. Pat. Pat. Rub. Brody caught on quickly...he would repeat the words as he did the moves..pat, pat, rub...mommy was in heaven!!!! Owen wanted no part of pat, pat, rub. I love my family!
