Thanksgiving Parties

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching... I joined Henley for her Thanksgiving Feast at Children's Day Out.

We enjoyed a great lunch of chicken fingers and various salads, sides, and desserts prepared by moms/volunteers.
My little turkey feasted on cookies more than anything else!

Next, we headed to the boys' parties. Owen looked so handsome in his turkey hat. He was thankful for "My brother, My Daddy, My Sister, The Sun, My Mommy". So cute!

Owen's class performed the Turkey song for us.

"A turkey is a funny bird

His head goes wobble, wobble, wobble.

He only knows a single word

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble"

Brody had a great smile for me. He was thankful for "Dogs, Owen, Mom, Dad, Toys". Todd and I were both glad we made the list for both of the boys.

His class was not as into performing the song. A classmate gave each of the kiddos a small gumball machine with REAL gumballs. So exciting!

Now...they are off for a week...and home with MOM!!!!
