What We're Up To

Well...what have the Rogers wild men been up to? We are officially off the bottle. They have all been packed away and are just fond memories! I was determined to lose them on the first birthday as instructed by Dr. Nabulsi, but it took a little bit longer (mostly Mom not the boys). Brody is a total walker and has his first molar coming in. Needless to say, he is not dealing with it very well. Owen is totally fine to crawl and only walks when he thinks no one is watching. Hard-headed??? Maybe! We are eating well, but I am always looking for new ideas. Especially meat ideas. So far, Chik-fil-a nuggets are number one. Katie K would be so proud, no ketchup! We love pizza, grilled cheese, pancakes, french toast, watermelon, pears, nilla wafers, yogurt, just to name a few. Today, Dad joined us a swim class and did great! We are ready to get our pool done and start the summer.
If I whine enough do you think Mom will give me that ridiculously expensive thermometer?

Oh! Holly stay right there. Don't move!

No, no! Holly don't go yet!

I can't believe you are leaving me! I was so close!

I REALLY wanted it!

We love to take anything metal and drag it across the floor. It becomes a very loud competition quickly! Daddy really likes this new game!

No worries. They can't ignite the burner, but they can turn it up or down if it's on. Not good. Does anyone know where to get knob locks?

B-boy was playing ball with Dad and Holly this weekend.

On your mark. Get set...

I sneak meat in with grilled cheese sandwiches, or roll it up in a wheat tortilla. Wright will eat meat and veggies I sneak into mac n cheese. He became a better eater once I started letting him use his own fork- now it's more like a game to put food in his mouth.

You are so brave to even let them in your kitchen. Mine are gated out!

Ridiculously expensive thermometer (we have one too) = the only thing they want to play with.

quick and easy "pizza" idea! get 1/2 of a whole wheat english muffin, throw on some slices of turkey or whatever meat you want and then top with some shredded cheese. broil it in the oven, and cut it into triangles....easy and quick! if you wanted to add pizza sauce you easily could...i just haven't! :) cute little pumpkins!!!

Should I be worried that the boys' diet looks a lot like mine!?!? Glad to hear they're avoiding the evils of ketchup and other tomato products! Cute photos, Nai!

Jaxon loves Rosa's chicken fajitas #12. I open up the tortilla and cut up the chicken and he devours it especially if he can dip it into the queso! Spagetti with meat is also a big hit in my house.
