So, we went to the doctor today because when I called about his high temp yesterday, they thought I should probably bring Owen in to be on the safe side since Brody was so sick just two weeks ago.
Yesterday when Owen woke up with 102.5 temp, I gave him a tepid bath and noticed a blister on his back. Strange? But it was early and I was more worried about bringing down his fever. At our appointment this morning, Dr. Nabulsi laughed when he saw me. I only went to the doctor for well checks for 12 months...then we've hit a stride here lately. So we discuss the temp, cough, lack of eating, and for curiosity purposes...I mentioned the blister. When we start looking there's more little bumps (we dressed in the dark as not to wake brother)...that's right...we have CHICKEN POX!
Here's the man with the spots! Bless his heart, never would I have guessed. He really hasn't bed acting like he feels bad. Oh yeah, he has double ear infections. You know it's bad when the pediatrician mentions I might want to move in the office or closer to his home. The whole staff chuckled a little too at the irony of Owen catching the Chicken Pox from the Chicken Pox vaccine and having RSV after taking the vaccine. Hum........

Oh no!!! I was just about to ask how on earth he got chicken pox. From the vaccine? Poor Owen. At least you know what's going on now. Hopefully you will all be well SOON!

Oh Janai I'm so sorry! Malia had the pox at 8 months and her first teeth at the same time! You poor thing! Now I know that vaccine doesn't work. That little man may be immune to vaccines.
